On Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at about 10 p.m., Humboldt County Deputy Sheriff’s responded to the area of New Navy Base Road near the town of Samoa. Deputies were in the area conducting extra patrol due to multiple vehicle burglaries. While in the area, another vehicle burglary occurred at Samoa Beach. Deputies spoke with the male victim and learned a gold van was seen leaving the area.

Deputies later found the gold van in Eureka. Further investigation led the deputies to a residence on the 300 block of W. Del Norte Street. Deputies confronted 37 year old Adam Bryce Rapp about the burglaries. Rapp was found to be in possession of some of the stolen property. Rapp handed over the stolen property from the two burglaries. Rapp was arrested and taken to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where he was booked for burglary. His bail was set at $100,000.

If you like to go to the beach in Samoa or anywhere along the north jetty for that matter, the only parking lot that doesn’t have broken out windows from smash and grab burglaries is the parking lot across from the wood chip mill at the entrance to the fairhaven business park. It’s the only parking lot where beachgoers can actually see their car from the beach in plain view. The tweeker gafflers never hit the cars parked in this lot.
Take this fwiw.
