[UPDATE 6:36 a.m.] Over 2000 Without Power in the Eureka Area

PG&E reports that approximately 2200 customers are without power in the Cutten area following a traffic accident about 9:30 p.m. They estimate the power will be restored about 12:45 a.m.

UPDATE 10:47 p.m.: Suddenlink is apparently affected also. To the right of the map if you click this link  is a place you can report the outage via either Twitter or Facebook.

UPDATE 6:30 a.m. Sunday: The power has been restored for most of customers. However, PG&E says there are still 116 customers without the ability to flick on a light yet. They estimate that their power will be back on by 8 a.m. A group of 191 customers near King Salmon lost their power a little before 6 a.m. this morning for as yet unknown cause.

Power is restored!

I was plugging in an appliance at the second the lights went out and thought I tripped a breaker. Glad it was nothing, but I hope who ever hit the power pole is ok.
