FBI Wants Weaverville Bank Robber for Multiple Heists

The Federal Bureau of Investigation believes that robber responsible for the recent bank heist at the Umpqua in Weaverville may be responsible for a string of others beginning in October of 2013.

The FBI describes the man as 5’10” to 6’0″, Approximately 160 pounds, Male, White, Medium Build, Light complexion. They say, “During the commission of most of the robberies, the suspect has worn dark-colored clothing and a hat–frequently a knit cap and has carried a backpack or messenger-style bag. He wore a dust mask during the Walnut Grove robbery and wore wrap-around, sport-style sunglasses during the May 9, 2016, robberies in Weaverville and Durham.”
