Accident in Richardson Grove

scanner featureHwy 101 was temporarily blocked this morning when at approximately 5:15 a.m. a Toyota Rav4 struck a tree in the Richardson Grove area.

The occupant received minor injuries but the traffic was blocked for a bit. As of 6 a.m., the traffic appears to be moving normally at this time.

    Those tree’s should pay better attention to what their doing! And they should look both ways before they cross the street! Tree’s growin all over the place! HA! Knock a couple down! That’ll teachém! That’s what I say!

      Trees are very shady characters, if you ask me. I don’t know why they are allowed to congregate like that around our lovely highway and bully our shiny Rav4s. I hear they even try and shake down big box retailers coming through there.

      • People really should leave the trees alone…its not like they’re branching out into our cities, and barking at the neighbor’s dogs…

        Those wild trees though…they’re dangerous when spooked, they often uproot highways and play possum in the lanes during bad storms

    Why did they plant those redwoods so close to the road? They also did it all along the Ave. of The giants !!!!!!!! Maybe the cars were smaller 3,000 years ago..
