[UPDATE: Open] Big Rig on Fire Closes Hwy 20
The California Highway Patrol have just issued the following announcement as of 10:35 p.m. concerning Highway 20 at mile marker 27 in the Clearlake Oaks area:
“Both lanes closed due to big rig fire. Unknown estimation of opening.”
UPDATE 10:55 p.m.: One way traffic control in effect now, said the CHP in an update.
UPDATE 5/5: The road is now completely open.

It would be helpful if RB could indicate Hwy 20 East or West, especially since many names in Humboldt, Mendo, and Lake are duplicated…like Blue Lake, etc. Thanks. af
