hcsoOn Saturday, April 30, 2016 at about 8:30 p.m., a Humboldt County Deputy Sheriff responded to a residence on the 3000 block of Delp Lane, Hydesville, for a burglary report. The deputy met with an adult male victim and an adult female victim. The male victim stated his residence was burglarized sometime during the day, and multiple electronic items and two Glock style pellet guns were taken. Deputies confronted the suspect with the iPad and confirmed the iPad was indeed the one stolen. The suspect also had possession of the laptop. The suspect received a citation to appear in court for possession of stolen property. The iPad and laptop, with a combined value of $1,400, were later returned to the male victim. The other stolen items were not located.

  • Now you just get a citation for robbing someone???? Wtf?

    • That is exactly what I was thinking. Break into someone’s house and steal their property and you get a flipping ticket now. Absolutely ridiculous. So where is the incentive NOT to be theifing douchebag? Like the people doing this kind of crap are going to be deterred by a frigging citation with the ‘promise’ to appear in court clause.

      • Been there busted that

The only incentive that works to make them NOT be a thieving douche bag is when they break into a house and find themselves looking in the business end of the homeowner’s gun and the very last thing they see is a bright flash.

That’s the only incentive that works other than a size 9 shoe up their kazoo.

  • There must be no more room in the inn.

  • clearlake fool

saw that on sheriff dispatch report
im always looking at that , have a crazy brother that lives in that area

  • There is absolutely no incentive for these guys to stop stealing and breaking into houses repeal proposition 47 and put these creeps where they belong behind bars we need people to complain to law-enforcement complaint to the county supervisors and ultimately complain to the governor to repeal proposition 47

  • I don't understand.

So, not long ago a thief rips off homeowner, homeowner shoots thief, homeowner goes to jail. Oh, and don’t forget that thief is now suing homeowner.

  • Why don’t they take them to jail they found stolen stuff in his house and thats not the first time

  • In the new world order, there is no such thing as private property. Get used to it.
