This is NOT a weed conflict. It’s a domestic problem. Just as the story says. However, it’s not an unreasonable assumption!!!

Mogtx, are you a troll or just really bad at this? You clearly do not know how to use the English language; emaciation is the state of being abnormally weak or thin, and although this girl looks like she may have done drugs, she’s obviously not emaciated. Also, you missed the point of the story entirely. Please try to contribute something useful [edit]

Vanderruit is a heroin addict and a thief who just lost her 2 little girls to the state and gave birth to a drug addicted baby boy just about 5 months ago Thank goodness they took him away also. Now that is a true crime a crime against humanity.

To the 53 year old female victim, I don’t know what the “personal issues” are but he’s not worth it. You can do better. Get away as far as you can. Next time he might not miss.

She was doing the opposite, she was following him, with plans to initiate confrontation. Emotional terrorism should be prosecutable.

“Emotional terrorism should be prosecutable…”
That might work, but how about just a nice sized fine….say, 20lbs?

Wow Russell, what a shame. After everything ‘your ex’ did for you, stood by you during your own struggle, this is how you show your loyalty, gratitude and thankfulness? You and this girl deserve each other. And you should go live in some other neck o’ the woods. Hey ‘EX” don’t let this get the best of you. Good riddance and move on, you DEFINATELY deserve better!!!

Crazy person stalks ex. Ex feels threatened & defends self & passenger. Ex & passenger are arrested. Crazy stalker goes free.
Either we’re missing a chunk of the story or I could use another pot of coffee.

First of all Rancho Sequoia aint Alderpoint. A little history. Once upon a time there was a plan to dam the Eel at Alderpoint. The dam was to be named the Yellowjacket. An enterprising fellow bought a section of land that was intended to be subdivided into 40 acre “lake view”parcels. Two things happened. The dam didn’t. And some dumb ass allowed the 40s to be chopped into 10 acre lots. Well there wasn’t enough water for the original 40s so the majority of the 10s have no water at all. A recipe for poaching and conflict. And almost nobody lived happily ever after.

Dave Kirby, that’s very interesting and explains a lot! Question Rancho is connected to Murder Mt. or not? I always thought Murder Mt. was closer to town.

I don’t know about “murder mountain” but Rancho Sequoia, though some of the parcels are fairly close to Alderpoint came into existence long after the town was established as a railroad/ sawmill hub. There is a lot of very nice land around Rancho and Alderpoint and its a shame the area has been portrayed the way it has. The road from Alderpoint to Blocksburg/Bridgeville is one of the most beautiful drives in Humboldt and is as historical as any in northern California.

Rancho/murder mountain is half and half. It’s got more trash piles than most of our roads… There are some sketchy folk but also some real nice ones too.
