[UPDATE 12:32 a.m.] Fire in Rio Dell

A 5th wheel trailer is on fire in the 200 block of Willow Lane in Rio Dell as of approximately 11 p.m. The trailer is fully involved and threatening other structures, according to scanner traffic.

UPDATE 11:15 p.m.: According to the Incident Commander on the scene as heard over the scanner, “No power lines down at this time. However, they were arcing on our arrival.”

UPDATE 11:23 p.m.: “Fire contained in the original structure,” said the Incident Commander. “No extension… .” This means that the fire did not spread.
