  • Stay off the road is right. It’s a crazy night out there… not a full moon but crazy. Came through Ferndale-Fernbridge north to Arcata this evening, saw one person make a u-turn on 101, saw a couple of different incidents of people pulled over by cops, and a couple where groups of cars were in the breakdown lane flashing their lights– good night to stay in!

  • That’s right just now there was a crash Southbound Highway 101

  • That’s beyond scary, praying no one got hurt 🙁

  • Crazy nuts.glad no one was hurt.geeze

  • Just another day on the Humboldt HWY to Hell. Please be safe out there folks, don’t speed or tailgate. The life you save may be your own. It’s real life, not a video game.

  • Don’t know what they are putting in the dope ,but it sure is driving people nuts

  • Typical Tundra driver

  • Well did they stop the car or is it still going?/

    • Sadly, I don’t know the answer to that. Following the scanner is sometimes unsatisfying. I have a request for more information from the CHP but it will be Monday before their PIO looks at it.

  • This is really scary, you never know when some crazy person is going to do something like this. Makes no sense. I think they may have a wish to do themselves in sometimes but why do that to someone else? Too many time tow trucks have to clean the mess up some crazy leaves behind. It takes its toll on the tow service drivers also seeing these things. Please be careful and look way down the road when driving. It could save lives.
