Two Small Fires Fought to a Standstill Near Whitethorn
A controlled burn escaped this afternoon about a mile and a half up A Road in the Whitethorn area. Laura Coleman, a spokesperson for Cal Fire tells us that a spot fire started from the first fire and multiple crews were sent to the scene including a helicopter and Whitethorn Fire Department.
The fires are now under control and inmate crews from the Eel River camp are on scene. The copter was sent back without dropping firefighters as those on the ground managed to get on top of the situation quickly
The fire is still under investigation but it appears that the fires were on BLM property but were not started by BLM.

How do you know they are from New Hampshire?
They are the new greed rushers on the road..most likely workers. Been seeing them drive through fast & disrespectfully in an older blue GMC Yukon with NH plates..saw them on the scene of the fire. I dont ignore these things.
