Why doesn’t the sheriff report say how much money was seized? It always smacks of intentional deception to me when that is not included. That is the only item that will be cycled back into the economy. If there was NO money they should say so.

Because they keep the money. I don’t know anyone who’s been busted for any reason who had the correct, if any, amount of money reported in their case. Why is the packaged pot listed by gram and not pounds?

Because it’s a very poor HCSO press release. Sure glad Kym didn’t write it. Listing amounts in grams gives oooh-hoo-hoo big numbers for citizens who don’t know better. Perhaps no money or guns were found. Don’t laugh, it could happen. Just get the money off premises if you’re smart. Usually, it bolsters the PR value if cops can show guns and money so you have to wonder. Rumors fly that there may be a10% or more shrinkage on cash or gold in processing. On the other hand, if a few guns are found in nearby storage, they may get seized, and you may lose them, but you might not get charged with -armed-in-commission as a favor for being nice and taking your medicine like a big boy. Happened to someone I know very well.

How come the report didn’t say how many guns were seized? how come it didn’t say how much meth was seized? How come it doesn’t say if any environmental damage was done? How close to other houses was it? How come it doesn’t say if there was an explosion or not? If none it should say so….Ernie’s mind wants to know.

The Humboldt trifecta is drugs, money & guns. This guy did well to have kept the other two out of his scene. It makes a HUGE difference in charges filed.
