Suspected Stolen AR-15 Rifle Found During Probation Search
This is a press release from the Eureka Police Department. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
On the afternoon of 03/25/16, Eureka Police Department patrol officers and a detective with the Problem Oriented Policing Unit, were conducting follow-up regarding the recent spate of residential burglaries that have been occurring on the east side of the city. At about 2:22 PM, the officers conducted a probation search at a motel room on the 2800 block of Broadway where they contacted Michael Tray Johns (age 33) and Michael Sherman Stockhoff (age 25 of Eureka).
During their search of the room, officers located a semiautomatic AR-15 rifle and ammunition. The rifle is believed to have been stolen from a residence on the 2400 block of 17th Street earlier this week.
Both Johns and Stockhoff were arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for being convicted felons in possession of a firearm and ammunition. Additionally, Stockhoff was arrested for providing a false name to a peace officer and a probation violation hold was placed on Johns.
Following final confirmation of the rifle’s origin, additional charges of possession of stolen property may be added.

Thieving worthless p.o.s.!
There family tree looks like a telephone poll.
Can’t nothing good come from a stolen assault rifle… Glad they got them before they hurt someone.
That is not an assault rifle, CA has ban still in place on them. You can find more info here. https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/regs/genchar2
Im looking at the photo, and I cant help but notice the stickers affixed to the LEO vehicles trunk liner. Also curious to know if the Problem Oriented Police Officers deliberately named themselves the POPO hehheh?

I wonder if he is Stan stock off s son
How can we allow people to continue recklessly storing their firearms, thus allowing them to fall into the hands of criminals?
That weapon is very poorly maintained.
Looks like it was brought home from Vietnam nam as a keepsake…
I just don’t understand the attraction to these guns. Bunco plastic, skeleton stock, nothing to polish and buff, can’t even be attractive to clean, much less just hold and remember one’s first bull-eye.
I understand keep sakes from Nam, bush knives made from tank cleats are particularly cool. But what’s the allure in these p.o.s. (es) ? Forbidden fruit? The looks of these guys say Look no Further, that’s all it would take. Hollow. Empty. Wanna be nothings. af
