Stolen Vehicle Recovered, Juvenile Arrested

Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

HCSO Humboldt County Sheriff's Office BlurOn Sunday, March 20, 2016, at about 6:39 p.m. a Humboldt County Deputy Sheriff observed a stolen vehicle pass his location on School Rd, McKinleyville. The vehicle was a silver 2003 Ford truck. The deputy attempted to pull the truck over but the driver attempted to evade the deputy by turning behind Ray’s Food Place. The truck stopped and a passenger jumped out of the vehicle and fled. The driver continued to drive behind K-Mart, where he then parked and fled the vehicle. The deputy immediately apprehended the driver, a 16 year old male.

The 16 year old male was taken to Juvenile Hall where he was booked for vehicle theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, and fleeing from a traffic officer. The vehicle was returned to the owner. The second suspect is still outstanding.

Sounds like another dirtbag is starting his criminal life in Macktown. Congrats to the officer for getting him, but I am sure the punk kid will be back out doing his thing quite soon!

Yes the white kid gang in mckville is pretty bad!!! For real.
White kids playing the gangsters they see&hear are often worse than the real deal. And they get arrested way less often so am glad to see a sheriff follow through.

I would like to see a running list like the stabbing one Oliver started that lists random vs non-random crimes, crimes by juveniles and crimes by gang members.
I think we’d all be surprised how few crimes tweekers can actually pull off.
