Chief Andrew Mills yelled at a driver who allegedly struck the vehicle of a Eureka Police Officer. He tweeted, “DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE” in all capital letters. “Yes, I’m yelling,” he added to his tweet.
According to the North Coast News, about 10 p.m. last night at the corner of 6th and C Street, the sedan of the allegedly drunk driver struck the police vehicle that the officer was driving near the Eureka Police Department’s. The officer was uninjured and 6th Street was closed for a time.
