With multiple roads being impacted by the storm, we wanted to gather all the relevant information in one place.

We’ll keep the post as up-to-date as possible so you can check in as needed. (Green font indicates new information since first posted at 2:06 p.m.)

State Highways:

Hwy 299: One-way controlled traffic in several places expect delays.

Hwy 254-Avenue of the Giants: Full closure near Holmes Flat Road about 1 mile north of Redcrest. (Click here for map.)

Hwy 128: Closed near Navarro because of flooding.

Hwy 101: One-way controlled traffic due to down tree and hot electrical wires by Confusion Hill. (Click here for map of where the road is impacted.) ( As of 2:16 p.m.)

Hwy 96: Two areas of one-way controlled traffic–one 3.8 miles west of Hoopa and one 8 miles west of Happy Camp.

Hwy 36: Chains or snow tires are required from the junction of Hwy 3 in Trinity County to
5 miles west of Platina in Shasta County.

Hwy 1: Two slides have closed the road. It is closed one mile west of Leggett and also five miles north of Westport. (Click here for information and photos on the slides.)

Humboldt County Roads:  Please update us if you can. Photos are wonderful ways of showing a situation.

Maple Creek and Butler Valley Road: Maple Creek is closed with a slide and there are numerous trees down on Butler Valley Road, according to the reader that provided us with the photo below.

Shively Road: A slide has been impacting the road. The road is still open but be aware that spot is narrow and rough.
