C.R.’s Sewer System Suffers ‘Catastrophic Failure’
Yesterday, College of the Redwoods’ waste water treatment plant “suffered a catastrophic failure,” according to an email sent out by Mark Winter, the Interim Vice President of Instruction and Student Development. Employees were “asked to minimize, or refrain if possible, the use of restroom toilets and sinks for the remainder of the day.”
For Monday, porta potties will be available. Winters wrote, “[W]e will have portable toilets on campus as all restrooms will be closed. We anticipate this work taking all of next week.”
