What’s Up on Our Roads? Old Arcata Road Flooded
See here for map.) The road isn’t actually closed but Humboldt County Public Works has posted flooded signs and issued a press release letting folks know they are traveling at their own risk.
Additionally, county workers have cleared the slide on Shively Road but…it could go out again so plan accordingly. It’s being monitored and we’ll do our best to keep you updated.

Lower the ocean level.
Stop building roads in the flood plain.
How else would people get the their houses that were built in the flood plain?
When you build a road, or anything else, in the floodplain, this is the result. Add climate change/sea level rise and OMG
County needs fix road, not tell Bulgaria to fix his little road, fix you road , not tell other guy fix road first, what this is?
