Vehicle Overturns in Shelter Cove, Person Trapped Inside
Shelter Cove Fire and Garberville Ambulance are responding to a single-vehicle rollover in Shelter Cove. According to scanner traffic, the accident is in the 1400 block of Upper Pacific Drive.
The California Highway Patrol incident page says, someone is trapped inside the vehicle. The person who called dispatch said her husband is trying to break open the window of the vehicle to get the person out.
Update 8:37 p.m.: The incident page says someone else drove up and removed the trapped occupant from the vehicle. The person who was trapped left the scene in that vehicle. At this point, we are not sure if the female driver was the person who was trapped.
Update 8:39 p.m.: The incident page says the vehicle involved is a blue Ford Explorer Expedition.

I could hear the sirens off of beach, noise travels far I guess?

I’m just reporting it. The CHP incident page said it was a blue Ford Expedition. Here’s a screenshot from the incident page. It’s the 8:36 p.m. update.
