Slide Closes Highway 299 in Trinity County

According to Caltrans District 1 and the California Highway Patrol, Highway 299 is closed in Trinity County. We have limited information on this slide right now, but we will update when we hear more.

Update 6:25 p.m.: Caltrans commented on their Facebook page:

This is the same location on 299 that has been sliding since January.

Update 6:30 p.m.: According to the California Highway Patrol, it is a rock slide.
