Fortuna PD Says Friday’s Stabbing Wasn’t ‘Random’
This is a press release from the Fortuna Police Department:
FORTUNA, CA – The Fortuna Police Department continues its investigation into the stabbing incident involving a 29 year-old female on February 19, 2016.
The victim has been transferred to a bay area hospital and is recovering from her injuries. Two Fortuna Police investigators have travelled to the victim’s location and have conducted interviews with the victim.
The investigation is ongoing. The Fortuna Police Department is confident that this was not a random or stranger attack.

Hey oliver does it seem time for a “random” vs “non-random” crime stat page to go with the stabbings stats?
At some point a name needs to be released here we’re dealing with adults not juveniles people have a right to know who’s involved.
