Motorist Assaulted with a Baseball Bat
One motorist went to the hospital after an altercation broke out between the occupants of two different vehicles in McKinleyville this afternoon. The altercation occurred near the intersection of Anderson and School Roads. One of the victims was struck hard enough with a baseball bat that he had to go to the hospital.
According to Sgt. Brian Taylor of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, “There are believed to be five to eight people involved in the melee… Two victims were in one vehicle and five other subjects were in another vehicle… .”

McKinleyville is the repeat offender of Humboldt. It spawns violence and crime more so than Eureka or any other spot in the county.
