[UPDATE: Open to One Way Controlled Traffic] Hwy 299 Closed Near Big Bar

Hwy 299 is closed near Big French Creek postmile 23.3 near Big Bar in Trinity County as of 9 a.m, according to Caltrans.

“Crews are responding to the scene. We don’t currently have an estimated time to reopening, but we’ll update as soon as we know more,” they report on their Facebook page.

UPDATE 11:49 a.m.: Caltrans is reporting, “The highway has been restored to ONE-WAY CONTROLLED TRAFFIC. Motorists should anticipate ONE HOUR DELAYS between Del Loma and Big Bar in Trinity County.”
