Suspect Nabbed After High-Speed Chase in McKinleyville
A suspect was taken into custody after fleeing from law enforcement tonight.
A little before 10:45 p.m., deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle on Highway 101 in the McKinleyville area. The deputies said the vehicle failed to maintain a lane.
At that point, the driver of the vehicle reportedly fled from deputies and reached speeds of up to 85 mph.
Eventually, the vehicle crashed stopped on Perini Road, which is near the airport. The driver of the vehicle then fled on foot before being chased down and taken into custody.
Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office officials said the driver of the vehicle fled because he had prior DUI arrests. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene to evaluate the driver for a DUI.

DragNet was a straight person’s dream show. The only funnier take on the straight world is Reefer Madness, which was not about stoners but about narrow minded peabrain losers who fear what they don’t understand.
speeds of up to 85mph…that’s like normal i-5 speeds…This person should have known better then to try and run, especially if 85 is the fastest the vehicle can go.
