The Poison Oak Bandit?

This is a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

Humboldt County Sheriff's Office HCSO KaleidoscopeOn Saturday, 02/13/16 at approx. 1818 hrs., an employee from the Orick Market phoned 911 to report a robbery just occurred. The employee reported a male subject entered the market wearing a camouflage mask, stated he had a gun and demanded money and property. The subject then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash in a white, 1999 or later Mitsubishi Eclipse.

The suspect is described as a Native American male adult, 30-40 years old with a light complexion and last seen wearing a camouflage jacket. The subject is believed to be approx. 5’08”-5’10” tall, with a “swollen face”, possibly having contracted Poison Oak.

Vehicle was last seen headed Northbound on Hwy. 101 and had possibly taken Bald Hills road.

wait..my grandson is native and is allergic to Poison Oak…will he be a suspect? 😛
kidding aside…no one but natives take bald hill in bad weather 🙁

Can you even catch poison oak this time of year? There’s no leaves on the vine. Perhaps his face is swolen from a beating.
