A collection of items found during yesterday’s arrests, according to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.

Yesterday evening, a Humboldt County Sheriff Sergeant arrested two individuals for guns and drugs. Below is the press release but what wasn’t mentioned in the press release is that the two rifles shown in the photo above were also found in the vehicle.

This is a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at about 6 p.m., a Humboldt County Sheriff’s Sergeant observed a light blue minivan travelling on Redwood Dr., Garberville, matching the description of a suspicious vehicle in Redway. The vehicle matched the description of a vehicle that was involved in a burglary over the weekend. The vehicle parked in a motel parking lot located on the 700 block of Redwood Dr, and the occupants did not exit the vehicle. The sergeant approached the vehicle and recognized the passenger, 35 year old Shaun Stringfellow, from previous law enforcement contacts. When speaking with the driver, 33 year old Dylan Streeter, from Gold Beach, OR, the sergeant noticed the handle of two knives protruding from his waistband. The sergeant confirmed with HCSO Communications Center Streeter was a convicted felon, and Stringfellow had multiple felony arrest warrants, and was subject to search based on his probation status. Streeter was searched due to his felony status and having weapons visibly on his person. The sergeant located a loaded handgun, and a container with suspected methamphetamine on Streeter’s person. Stringfellow was found to be in possession of heroin, possibly packaged for sales.

Streeter and Stringfellow were transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. Streeter was booked for being a felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon on his person, being a prohibited person for owning/possessing a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance while armed. Stringfellow was booked for violation of probation and possession of a controlled substance for sales.

Anyone with information for the Sheriff’s Office regarding this case or related criminal activity is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 707-445-7251 or the Sheriff’s Office Crime Tip line at 707-268-2539.

ANYONE packing that kind of heat has either been involved in, or has considered the situations that would warrant them shooting someone, either as an offensive move, or possibly as a result of a robbery gone bad; therefore, they should be charged, tried (and hopefully) convicted with conspiracy to commit murder, mayhem, and/or great bodily injury. Give these two intellectual dead-ends 8 or 10 years each. If room is tight, spring a couple of non-violent offenders, and give these two jackals their spots!

Good work, officers!
I must admit, though, that in today’s day & age when every person is considered a felon, the term no longer shocks or startles me. We need new terms of endearment. I’ll offer a few to get the ball rolling.
Felon = harmed another person. Such as assault, robbery, murder,
Drulon = Dumbshit caught with illegally illegalized products.
Weadrulon = A Drulon who was also caught with weapons.

So when is “town patrol” gonna address some of the actual problematic people on the streets like these guys that wander around all day all year.. You know who they are. You try not to recognize them but if you come to town enough you can’t help. If you work in town, forget about it.in the few times I’ve seen those folks patrolling I have only seen them talk to travelers or anyone with a backpack like some 1950’s Mississippi flash mob, or people they may know or be related to personally and aren’t scared of. But the real tweakers and huslters and theifs just scurry around all day and night gigglin under their breath and slip into the shadows when the green vests and flashlights come out. But that ghy with a backpack, he’s probably trouble and needs to be told to respect our town.. I bet if townfolk put pressure on the real problems folks they’d eventually peace out cuz what low life wants attention every time they walk around
Just my buffalo nickles worth of comment

Thats fantastic. Nonetheless, I know you probably know the town patrol folks, but seriously, if they want to make gville safe for our children why don’t we mob up and confront the real problems instead of any kids with backpacks. Welcome to America, where its legal to travel and be on sidewalks and not be harassed by people. Let’s harass the people scaring our children. I tell this one guy who lives by the music studio to put his dog on a leash every single day I’m in town and he just snarls curse words and walks around like he owns the town, then I see people handing him money. Locals with nice 60000 trucks and SUVs giving these folks their hard earned ganja money. And the thieves that are posted up in different stores, they just sell meth and shoot up all day in town. Where is town patrol on these people? Just saying.
