Man Wielding 12″ Knives Surrenders at Sight of Bean Bag Shotgun
This is a press release from the Eureka Police Department. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
On 02/2/16 at about 1:37 p.m., Officers with the Eureka Police Department responded to a business on the 700 block of 4th Street after employees reported that a male was inside speaking incoherently and brandishing two 12” knives at employees.
Once on scene, Officers located the male and deployed a less-lethal bean bag shotgun. The male dropped the knives and was taken into custody without further incident. The less-lethal shotgun was only displayed. Antonio Mims, 33 of Livermore, was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for brandishing.

Great job!
What a dumbass
Good thing he’s not a dog , could of been shot.
No doubt.
Knife control
Implying that if he had been brandishing two handguns, the threat and results would have been the same?
Nice work on the part of the police, using nonlethal law enforcement tools!
Does a less-lethal shotgun not look like a normal one?
Same shotgun just different ammunition
Black man with a knife isn’t happening for long in this county!
He could have given Mario Woods lessons on LEO compliance, or even better, they could have posted knife-fight vids to HoodTV!
