Happy retirement Ken. You’ve been someone I have admired as a leader in the fire service for many years. You have helped every fire department in Humboldt County bring their level of professionalism up several notches. Good luck to you and your family.

You have been the greatest asset to the community we have seen in many years. Your leadership brought greater service to our residents with no added costs. That is a remarkable feat in the current fiscal state of California’s local agencies. You are a leader that inspires growth and ethical behavior. I hope you bring the same transformation to your next endeavor! Happy retirement to you and your lovely wife.
