Flooding Predicted on the Eel, the Van Duzen, and the Navarro Rivers

Possible results of flooding: Because of flooding on the Van Duzen, Hwy 36 could close near Grizzly Creek State Park. Ferndale residents are being issued sandbags. Cannibal Island Road could close because of flooding on the Eel.
Details:The Eel is expected to exceed flood stage about 1 a.m. on Monday and crest about 8 a.m. at over 21 feet. For comparison, in 2013 the Eel exceeded 22 feet.
The Van Duzen is expected to exceed flood stage around 4 p.m. on Sunday evening and crest around 8 p.m. at 17.7 feet. For comparison, the 1986 flood was only about a half a foot higher.
The Navarro is expected to exceed flood stage at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday and crest around 2 a.m at 26.1 feet. For comparison, every year for the last five years except last year the Navarro has exceeded flood stage.

Praying for safety for all who live along the rivers including the homeless and that they would get word that the river is rising.
I would hope that after weeks of high rainfall, that campers would realize that the river is rising. Hope they haul out their sewage and garbage with them. Yeah, I know, personal responsibility is not high on the to-do list.
Their mother AKA. Ma Nature will clean it up and flush it down.
Maybe the Salt River will flow ? Or fill
But hey the governor want you to cut back on your water use nonetheless!
Don’t pump and don’t divert any for personal use! ! We are in a drought as you can tell!
