It’s a silicon container (originally marketed under the brand name “no-goo” for BHO or “dabs” though I hate calling any form of butane honey oil “dabs,” just sounds too innocuous, far too friendly of a name, at least shatter or wax do a better job of describing whatever form the BHO is in). Silicon is the best material a sticky substance can be stored in, I guess it works for even Meth… Wonder why the beauty queen didn’t just use the silicon puck for her black tar,but then again, those kind of drugs aren’t very conducive to rational thinking, let alone any thinking in general. Hopefully she’ll be off the streets long enough to sober up and do some soul searching, I’m sure this isn’t the way she’d imagined herself to be at 47- then again, she is a tweaker in south county, she probably isn’t surprised much by her current situation. Let’s all just hope(or pray for those of you who are into that sort of thing…) that she doesn’t have any kids whom are suffering the ill effects of having a mother who’s both active in her addiction and a multiple felon & that she isn’t just caught, booked and released so she can resume her downward spiral, only now, in a more desperate state on her hunt for that elusive “dragon” or her all-important “fix.” Things are gonna have to change around here eventually, IMHO, the first thing that needs to change is the sheriffs policy for catch-&-release of these sick repeat offenders, this chick has a way better chance at turning herself around if she’s just given the 5days it takes for meth to clear out her system in jail. The Recidivism rate would likely start going the opposite way that it’s been heading and probably free up some space in the grey-bar motel and day-spa they’re running up there in Tweeka if all they did was make sure these addicts have the necessary time it takes for the drugs to clear out of their systems. 5Days for Meth and 3Days for most everything else(except our beloved medicinal herb), & then prescription narcotics are tricky, but after 3-4days they’re mostly out of ones bloodstream, however, benzodiazepine & Valium withdrawal can be deadly, so those who have been abusing either of those need to be stepped down and monitored closely by medical staff- those abusing prescription narcotics should be placed on methadone or suboxone or whatever the newest version is called(burprinorphine).& I know the sheriff isn’t keen on babysitting anyone, but if a different approach is taken and these addicts were given another option while being sorted out by the system, I’d wager more good than harm would be done in our community and we all could start to shed our collective apathy toward the sick and self destructive- hell, maybe by getting our drugged up community members off of drugs, we could in turn start hiring from within our community come harvest season and put an end to all those opportunivore-trimmigrants! One scourge when helped to heal could put an end to the other scourge of our beloved county!! Wishful thinking I know, oh well screw it, probably better to not waste any more time or money on the sinking ship that we call home and better to just invest in Silicone- looks like it’s value will only be going up now that the tweakers are putting it to use! Invest your locally grown dollars in a foreign commodity and buy a piece of land in Hawaii or wherever you please, Humboldt may turn out to have already seen its best days and like any sinking ship, it’s best to jump off before its too late! I am by no means pleased to have arrived at this conclusion, call it the inevitable destination of just one train of thought, the crazy train. And just like Ozzy said, “of all the things I’ve lost, I miss my mind the most.” Or in my own words, of all the things I’ve lost, I miss the confidence, hope and positive mindset that we all once shared about the future & living here in Humboldt… I really, really do…
