[UPDATE 6:55 p.m.] Two Injured in Head On Collision in Eureka

Two people were injured about 6:30 tonight in a head on traffic collision at Buhne and S Streets in Eureka. As of 6:38 p.m., an officer at site is requesting two ambulances Code 3 (lights and sirens.)

UPDATE 6:41 p.m.: One ambulance has been cancelled.

UPDATE 6:43 p.m.: Tow trucks were requested for a Lincoln Navigator and a Cadillac both with major front end damage.

UPDATE 6:48 p.m.: The Lincoln Navigator is white and the Cadillac is red, according to Mark McKenna who is on site.

UPDATE 6:53 p.m.: S Street is currently closed at Buhne Street.
