Crews at a Reported Structure Fire on Fickle Hill

Cal Fire is on scene at a structure fire in the 2300 block of Fickle Hill Road. An additional water tender has been requested. Arcata Fire and Blue Lake Fire are also responding.

“Smoke in the structure. Nothing showing,” reports someone from the scene.

UPDATE 1:43 p.m.: The initial investigation indicates that the heater may be the source of the problem. All other units coming are cancelled. The engine on the scene will handle.
