Daughter Detained After Fight with Mother
A woman and her daughter reportedly got in a fight at a residence on California Street in Eureka. The Eureka Police Department, Humboldt Bay Fire and City Ambulance responded to the scene around 11:30 p.m. on Monday.
EPD Sergeant Gary Whitmer said the mother was treated by medical personnel and released at the scene. She wanted her daughter to be arrested. The daughter sat in the rain, handcuffed on the front steps of the residence before eventually being escorted to a police car.
Update 1:05 a.m.: According to the scanner, the mother was treated for a head injury. The person who placed the call about the incident told dispatchers that the daughter threw an object at someone’s car and damaged its windshield.

I wonder if daughter is 13 yrs old.
If so, she’d be an awfully brawny 13-year old.
(That house looks familiar. Isn’t that the same address that featured tenants in some other recent not-so-pleasant news?)
Nothing says Holidays like a good old fight among family members! Shocked the tree isn’t thrown on the front lawn and someone wasn’t running around naked.
