What they drive a dodge so they can’t be terrorist? One of the criminals was even a felon, driving a Dodge that had an AR15 under the hood. They even had fake badges, probably to commit acts of terrorism.

What’s wrong with the Ar-15? It’s probably the most common rifle in the U.S. and it doesn’t do anything different than any other semi automatic magazine fed rifle. Although the way they had it configured is illegal in Ca, and it’s good they were caught.
And love is inside of us, and all around us. The Ar-15 doesn’t represent hate or love it’s just a hunk of metal. I own several Ar-15’s and I love animals, I love people for the most part, I love the trees and the sound of the wind blowing through them. I meditate and even do yoga once n a while. Hate/evil lies within the person, not the object.

Ammo under the hood just sounds like a bad time. Not the sharpest tools in the shed. People who live around here also know that empty parking lot near the mall is bad news. They were pretty much sitting ducks.

I know, a friggin rifle, semi automatic at that.

Why do communists demand on capturing and demeaning anyone with a rifle.

Heck, they even have some evil wolf steel case ammo that will expand in the chamber to force the need with a pushrod to remove the junk ammo.

Not a very pro set up, cheap ammo and all….

I’ve shot over 5 thousand rounds of wolf or tulammo ammo over the last couple of years, through mini 14, ar-15,kel-tek and a bolt action ruger without a signal miss feed or jam or dud. I just don’t understand why wolf has such a bad rep.;-)

The police may have staved off an impending killing or shooting spree. We ought to be thankful here. Law abiding gun owners don’t hide their weapon under the hood of their truck.

You make this point far better than I did. I’m into guns and gun safety. But this whole scene smacked of Something Other.

Right! Multiple high capacity magazines loaded! Sitting outside a busy ass mall! Easily could have been a shooting spree.

Can’t you buy a AR15 at redwood marine ya it’s just a semi auto rifle not sticking up for them just saying seems like to me the cops rousted them and then searched them I don’t know if they’re both on probation or not but I would have told the cop hell no, but dog got them , so they were screwed all around ,and there was the probable cause for search

Probable cause is very easy for them to find. All they have to say is they smell marijuana. Then they conduct a search. If there isn’t marijuana but they find something else they can charge you with it doesn’t really matter what the probable cause was. If they find nothing..well then it’s never reported and you most likely get a citation and drive away.

A lot of businesses sell that style rifle. But the high capacity magazines they were in possession of are illegal in california. One of them is a convicted felon, which means they can’t ever possess a firearm or ammunition. Which explains why it was hidden.
