Michael Wayne Ayer

Today a jury found 25-year-old Michael Wayne Ayer guilty of receiving stolen property, a felony. The jury also found the defendant guilty of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, both misdemeanors, as well as displaying a false license plate, an infraction. The jury was not able to reach a verdict on the charge of burglary in the first degree, a felony.

The charges arose from two separate incidents: On June 9, 2015, a deputy from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office made contact with the defendant near the intersection of Jackson Ranch Road and Old Samoa Road. The defendant was found to be in possession of property that had recently been obtained in the burglary of a nearby Eureka residence. In a second incident in the early morning of June 1, 2015, officers from the Eureka Police Department contacted the defendant outside of his car in the parking lot of a closed business. The defendant’s car was displaying a false license plate, and he was found to be in possession of heroin and methamphetamine.

The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Whitney Barnes, with assistance from District Attorney Investigator Gary Cooper. Judge Dale Reinholtsen presided over the trial.

If you’re Sovereign, you don’t need license plates, because you haven’t entered into the slavery contract with the state.
Free Men do not pay taxes and have no state ownership of their bodies and property.
Slaves wearing uniforms have no business attacking a Sovereign Man for not partaking in admiralty “law”. This land fought against a king for these rights, yet we are encircled by dogs wearing the same clothes that have their thoughts presented to them as red or blue.

Hogwash. Also, if you are driving on public roads you need license plates, pure and simple. Declaring you are “free” doesn’t make you so. It does make you a parasite on the public.

Not surprised at all, the inbred level of dumb in the general public that ends up passing jury selection is the reason. The outcome of a trial is never been up to a jury, not of significant cases anyways.
Jury selection is an art, and it looks as if in this case they picked some of the finest of the iq less.
But hey they did manage to convict this dirt bag on three accounts.
This should be a reminder to ALL PAWN SHOPS, receiving stolen property remains a felony in the state of california!
I’m disgusted and disappointed simultaneously, another felony could have kept this meth posessing false license plate criminal off our streets a little longer, oops I forgot we are on the north coast and nobody really stays in jail for long…
Don’t be a victim, make use of your rights , protect your self and your family with a smith and wesson, maybe you like ruger, but it’s the time of year that burglaries and robberies are on the rise.
MERICA!

Only one felony charge, theyll plea down the drug charges, and a fine for the infraction. So even though everybody know he was breaking into homes, hell be out in a couple months at most back on the streets..

I’ve never had any confidence in jury trials ever since I caught this one guy in my house, whooped his ass, had him arrested, and then watched the jury hang due to one person w a flawed sense of logic. This isn’t CSI and blood samples were not collected so no there is no DNA evidence. WTF?

If I ever get busted for anything, I’m going to trial.

Of course I’ll get the chair while everyone else walks.
