Trailer Fire in Weitchpec Area

Fire crews are responding to a report of a structure fire in the Weitchpec area. According to the scanner, a trailer is on fire on New Village Road. We’ll update this post if and when we hear more.

Update 11:10 p.m.: The fire was first reported around 10:50 p.m.

Update 12:50 a.m.: The fire was in an approximately 50-foot fiberglass trailer.

Update 12:55 a.m.: Fire crews are still investigating the cause.
