Willits PoliceLaw enforcement is searching for 27-year-old Lee Adams of Willits as a person of interest in the ramming of a Willits Police vehicle.  On the morning of October 12th, an officer contacted two people who were camped in a vehicle behind a business. When the officer was radioing in, one of the individuals backed up quickly nearly striking the officer and attempted to flee. When a second officer arrived, the suspect rammed into that officer’s vehicle and raced off.

The officers attempted to stop the fleeing vehicle but discontinued it for public safety reason.

Lee Adams is “also the subject of two outstanding drug and weapon related Humboldt County warrants,” according to Willits Police. They ask, “[I]f you see Adams, immediately contact your local law enforcement agency. Do not attempt [to contact him] yourself.”

We have a request in for a photo of the suspect.
