[Update 2:30 p.m.: Suspects Still At-Large] Car Chase Ends in Crash in McKinleyville, Officers Search for Two Suspects
Law enforcement officers chased a green suburban from Arcata to McKinleyville this morning. The chase started on LK Wood near HSU just after 1:45 a.m.
The suburban reached speeds of up to 90 MPH. A man drove the vehicle while a woman sat in the passenger seat, according to the scanner.
“When I observed it, it had all of its headlights off,” said an officer over the scanner.
The vehicle drove north on 101 before heading east on 299. Officers discontinued the pursuit, but caught up with the vehicle again on Murray Road in McKinleyville. Officers chased the vehicle through McKinleyville before the vehicle eventually crashed on Kelly Avenue at around 2:05 a.m.
“The driver bailed from the vehicle,” said an officer over the scanner.
Officers started a foot pursuit and searched for the suspects. A female was detained just before 2:30 a.m. However, the woman didn’t match the description of the passenger.
“I don’t believe she was tied in with this,” said an officer over the scanner. “I’m gonna cut her loose. Is that kosher — to release her?”
At this point, it’s unclear if the actual suspects were detained, but we’ll post an update as soon as we find out.
Update 2:30 p.m.: A spokesperson for the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office tells us no suspects were arrested.

You can get decent eastern bloc stuff real cheap off the web these days. The Cylons should carry a ir searchlight on their enforcer units to better aid in late night hunting.
I know syskiou county has ir sniper scopes and technicals from the fed surplus. You can read the lists of the gear each department requested for the Cylons to use.
I’m gonna put night vision cameras in my 1969 A12 roadrunner I’ll have a monitor in my instrument Panal my car is black and the window are tinted it’s a street legal Nascar highly modified 440 puts out about 800 hp 200 mile an hr rated suspension ,so with that said I’m also gonna in stall counter measures such as a trap door that will drop nails and tacks that will flatten tires of a persuit vehicle rotating licence plate oh and more thing smoke ,so when the shit hits the fan that is my bug out vehicle, so if a vehicle gets close enough to me ,but even the cylons fastest Car can catch me I hit the smoke and the nails I’ll drop from the trap door.
