A one acre fire is burning near Ruth Lake in the Barlow Campground area. According to Laura Coleman of Cal Fire, it was first reported about 9 a.m. The blaze is mainly in vegetation though there is some torching of trees. The Forest Service responded as the fire is on lands under their protection and so has Cal Fire. Cal Fire resources sent include two hand crews, one fire engine, one copter, one air tactical, and one air tanker.
As of the writing of this article, forward spread has stopped and some resources are being returned home.

Glad to have good news to report. Yay, firefighters!

On it fast,our firefighters rule!!!!
They really do. Give thanks for them.
Any leads on the perp? If no perp, then what’s the explanation? Isn’t this getting tiresome? Somebody needs a little justice. Then, maybe a trial and restitution and plenty of jail time.
