Very sad life,very sad ending.
He does a home invasion and that’s sad. Great job by the home owners. One less POS for the court’s n Cops to deal with.
They should have called the cops not left him there I don’t care what he did he may have had family
That is 1 side to the story. There is still another side Troy. What if this wasn’t a home invasion? Then a man is dead, a family is hurting, and a murderer is on the loose. I hope that the police do a thorough job investigating. The blog I read was psychotic!!!
Thank you for not having negativity to say. because someone left him for dead he’ll never get to know his unborn son. No one even mentioned the fact he homeowner was a heroin dealer.
The name sounds familiar. Has he had any local criminal activity? It seem that I’ve seen that name in an arrest report a while back.
Homeowner 1…threat neutralized. Job well done!
Sheriffs office were told where to find the body by a Scotia employee
Lacy Peterson?
Your mother
OK the victim’s story raises a lot of red flags, but the saddess thing about this story is that the Sheriff’s Office looks like a squad of keystone cops. I feel like they can’t afford any proptection to the citizens of the county let alone even provide the simplest “documentation” of an incident. Does Downey and his new promotees even know what is going on? Is Downey paying any attention to how bad this makes his cops look?…Or better question, does he care? Sounds like he is just waiting out retirement.
Yep its up to citizens to defend themselves. The sheriffs that came to a friends house after two break ins wouldn’t even take the crowbar used to pry door open to get the very obvious fingerprints off of it. Nor the prints on multiple stolen items of theirs that they found on a trail behind the house. It was a very short trail leading to a trailer park nearby, this was in town NoHum, not even the hills. Another woman had six break ins, all reported, before she finally got a sheriff who got fingerprints of thieves at her house, found them, & had some of her stuff back to her in two weeks. Thank u B.Brennan! ask for him in NoHum if you need real help.
The good ole boys club still strong. throughout legal system, so a story like this can make one wonder about cover-up, tho it may b a good thing to spread far and wide that this is how thieves are dealt with here!
Perhaps we need a local regulation stating what are the most important issues the community(s) here would like to see the cops focus on. Thats probably not the correct terminology, but something similar to San Fran where citizens voted to have things like violent acts, home invasions, etc be the focus of police, and things like smoking a joint at the park not be so focused on.
This has gone on for years. Someone goes missing, police are called, zip. Neighbors check around, find obvious evidentiary trail in vic’s backyard, voila! Body found. Versions of that. We just had the I-only-handle-one-crisis-per-day, HCSO incident where allegedly a juvenile’s plaintive calls for help were ignored. In Poker, it’s called a “tell” where someone inadvertently tells you exactly what they’re thinking.
Poor coroner.
I once knew a criminologist he told me sometimes a story can be too perfect . look we all know where we live in the middle of the black market economy .I will say there’s no reason to be suspicious of the homeowner he did indeed seem to be protecting himself .
What a waste!
what would the flipside of this coin be? homeowner dead and no suspect…
be alert and protect yourself at all costs, no one else will.
Good riddance. One less thief for all of us not-thieves to worry about. Lesson of the day…..Don’t bring a gun to invade the home of a bad ass MF with a big knife. I bet the thief had no idea he would end up causing such a stink for this neighborhood.
Such a stink! Gottum.
A 2008 blog commenter at this site believes that Edgar Cayce said that John Pineal is the Antichrist:

Which is only another bizarre aspect of this character. I wonder why with all the confusion about how exactly the cops could miss a body 60′ away, and the speculation about Pineal’s/Alsup’s connections to the opium trade, nobody has considered that Law Enforcement is involved with this nutcase and was in NO hurry to jump on their old buddy here… there’s more money in heroin than in weed–why would we NOT assume there was more than incompetence at work here? I’m not saying i necessarily doubt their ineptness… just that, if this were a movie and all we had is the stories here and the links to all we know about Pineal and Scotia, the working assumption would be that the plot involved police corruption and collusion.
Best post yet.
The odds of this are paranormal….
If it does not seem right it isn’t.
Mysteries and secrets makes the humdum, it’s just how it is.
Sing it, Laura.
Corruption, corruption, corruption,I will say it again, corruption…making us all look stupid, what a shame.
