I think someone got hit at Wabash and E street a little while ago too. It looked like they were crossing the street in the crosswalk and someone did a hit and run.

This doesn’t surprise me. People don’t look before crossing the street. Every time I drive thru eureka I almost get in an accident. Especially at night when the tweeks are out.

This is a well lighted crosswalk at a 4 way stop, I can’t see anyway in the world why it would be the Pedestrians fault.

I hadn’t had the experience of folks running out in the middle of the street till the other day. If I had to judge the guy, he looked like a tweeker. He darted out in the middle of traffic, bobbing and weaving his way through moving traffic, heading south on 4th just north of the courthouse. He almost got hit twice. At that moment, I realized what people were talking about.
