Fortuna Police Seeking Burger King Robber; Recognize Him?

Press release from the Fortuna Police:

On 9/28/2015 at approximately 8:00 PM, an unidentified male suspect entered the Fortuna Burger King and placed an order. When the employee opened the register, the male suspect leaned over the counter and began to grab money out of the register. The employee attempted to stop the suspect from obtaining the money from the register.
The suspect then exited the business with an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect was last seen running northbound on S. Fortuna Boulevard. The suspects is described as a White male adult, 25 to 35 years of age, light colored short buzzed hair, approximately 180 to 200 pounds, 6’00” to 6’04” tall thin build. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fortuna Police Department 707-725-7550. Citizens with information can also leave a tip through the Departments Anonymous crime tip line at 1-800-78-CRIME or online at wetip.com.

Too bad she didn’t have any pepper spray or a hot pot of coffee. Another tweeker POS! If your going to be a druggy, thats ok. Just don’t go around stealing to support your habit.

Not sure if they are moving down from Eureka, but there is a new homeless village behind Burgerjunk. Safeway after hours or real early in the morning is an eye opener to the trash that has moved into the area. I’m not saying homeless folks are trash. I am saying that trash has moved in to Fortuna.

I will keep my eye out for this POS, that cashier is pretty brave to stick around, I just wish she would have shoved her thumbs through his eye sockets, glad no one was injured and it was only money

They were hanging out in a green car in the parking lot before it happened. I saw them and they looked suspicious because they were backed into a spot watching the restaurant. I thought they were waiting to buy drugs or something like that. I went thru the drive thru around 730
