Times have changed, I remember when this full moon was called the “Ripper’s Moon” Lots of all night garden sleepovers back then. Seems to be less of that these days.

Does weed make people violent?
Maybe the hippies at Kent State really shot each other and not by The Man.
In all The Dead shows I went to there isn’t one I can recall where Dead Heads opened fire on people, but I guess they must have hid the violence well.
Should we ban weed, or simply ban Neo Hippies?

Hopefully silly and not “serial” like Al Gore on South Park.

Weed doesn’t make you violent…thieves can be violent and growers can be violent when someone tries to steal their weed.

We’re you at deer creek in 95? Saw a bunch of stupid “hippies” there. How’d that go?

And I love the dead and my hippie uncles, but really, that scene has defused into transient junkies trying to make a name from our work. GDF, what? Jerry is spinning in his grave. So is Pig, and Billy will tell you personally.

“that scene” ended on August 9, 1995.

For some of us “that scene” ended even earlier-pick your date- 1990 when Brent died, 1987 when “Touch” got released and huge crowds followed….my really old neighbor says when Pig died and they stopped playing The Carousel Ballroom! Ha Ha (I go w/ ’87 and losing all the small, intimate venues)

I think if it was a thief he would never have made it out to make the phone call. He would have been listed as a missing person.

Thought i was gonna be first to say the victim was probably trying to rip someone off. Guess not. anyway hopefully he was actually trying to rip someone off and not trying to protect his stuff from rippers. cuz if he was trying to rip someone off, sounds like he got what he deserved.
