Not Again! Big Rig Stuck on Zenia Bluff Road
A big rig is once again stuck on the Zenia Bluff Road where it bridges South Dobbyn Creek. A semi with a 40 foot trailer straddles the road. No one can pass. Please avoid the area if possible.
It’s the second one this week. One blocked the road for at least six hours on Tuesday.
Alderpoint Road was blocked on the 17th by another big rig.

I don’t understand why such big long trucks are driving up those roads. There should be big warning signs for long trailers advising them to not proceed.
Because there are stores in the mountains that require trucks to bring them goods. Also people have things delivered to their properties such as building materials. The problem is incompetent I5 drivers getting sent into our hills. It’s not exactly a mystery.
Seems like it’s time to limit the size of the trucks on that road. Why are big rigs out there, anyway?
Really, I hate to be nosey, but why the hell are all these big rigs going over that single lane rocky, windy, road out in the middle of no where?? And there are some that make it I assume. WTH?
What are they hauling in those big rigs?
turkey bags and retail therapy, why the need to ask?
Had to do a double take there. The house next to the bridge is one I lived in over 20 years ago. Logging trucks knew to slow way down on that corner. Not a good road in general for big rigs.

Google tells them to go that way!
If that is true it gives new meaning to the term ” lost coast “.
what kind of dumbass blindly follows google while driving a tractor-trailer?
The last three big rigs to get stuck were all going to Dazeys two motorcycle trucks same company el paso trucking from Texas and one hauling totes the chp wrote a big fat ticket and made them unhook the trailer the truck was 68 feet long Mexican drivers don’t speak English and cant read it ether
What happened to just studying a good old road atlas? When I travel I carry one with me. They act like gps is the only means of getting info.
Stop using GPS,it doesn’t tell you big rigs can’t make it up those hills, just that it’s shorter.we know that, they don’t a be advised sign would be nice
Presumably they were hauling bags of dirt to the Kettenpom store. There is an alternate route a mile or so before the bridge but as it is not paved for much of the way probably it doesn’t show up as an alternative. I don’t think it has any turn like the Dobbyn’s creek turn. Now we know, but how to get this info to the trailer guys?
