I think that may be the same woman who left her dog in a motel room and disappeared for a while a couple years ago. I’d’ve said it HAD to be a massive heart attack, but I guess she might’ve passed out behind the wheel. RIP Terry.

Someone I loved very, very much wanted to be dead, got himself sufficiently liquored up to keep his nerve and drove his car into a redwood at about a hundred miles an hour. That was many years ago. The tree’s fine. I still have days where I feel certain I can pluck him back to life whole from the sheer force of my memory.
