Have to say it. People drive like idiots on 299. Speeding and unsafe passing. Who would be in that much of a hurry to get to Redding or Eureka?
Maybe they were both leaving Eureka and Redding respectively.
The person in the sedan almost hit us twice. She was all over the road I thought she was drunk
Alan, I hope she was given a sobriety test, she may of been on Rx meds. So happy you made it safely home. As well as my beloved husband. I drive the 299 a lot for work and I see folks in a hurry for many of the days I commute. The same log truck drivers, personal vehicle drivers, beer distributor drivers. Pretty scary some days.
I was first to arrive on accident and the female driver of the car was actually a male driver. Glad no one was hurt but too bad he chose to drive under the influence.
