UPDATE 12:32 p.m.: The left lane is closed between Henderson and Russ Street. The black SUV is a Nissan Rogue.
UPDATE 12:49 p.m: “According to witnesses the pickup ran a red light,” said Tim Jones Eureka Police Department’s Traffic Investigator.

Hope the red-light runner gets serious jail time. I can dream, can’t I?
at 2:30 pm I was heading east on Henderson at J when a white SUV with Fireman license plates blew through the intersection in the wrong lane. Missed him by a car length and thank goodness I was slowing to turn on to J.
