imageservlet (48)On 09-08-2015 at 12:20 p.m. Humboldt County Sheriff Office Deputies were dispatched to Trinity Automotive in Willow Creek for a suspicious note left on a vehicle.  The note was written and signed by a female.  The female indicated that her life was in danger and if she did not show up to pick up her car by Monday “To Call the Police!”

The note further indicated she may be being held against her will at an address off the 200 block of Panther Road, Willow Creek.  When deputies responded to the address on Panther Road to conduct welfare check they discovered a commercial marijuana growing operation.

When deputies searched the residence and property they located 2-3 grams of methamphetamines, 160 lbs. of processed marijuana, 278 marijuana plants that were 4’ to 9’ in height. Four (4) firearms and $5,530 in cash.

Deputies arrested 44 year old, Kenneth Richard Ashe at the scene for possession of methamphetamine, cultivation and possession for sales of marijuana and for being armed in the commission of a felony. Ashe was transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility in Eureka. Ashe’s bail was set at $75,000 dollars.

Yikes! I would not like to be her when he gets out, which I’m sure will be soon. He doesn’t look like the friendly type.

Have they found her? Maybe more to the story- a note like that isn’t left for no reason!

Wow..I bet the back story on this is a trip.

At first I thought the note was fake, like a mad neighbor or enemy sort of tactic…but then I read she was in fact real…and left on her own…

Now I’m betting she is some tweaker who just doesn’t think right. But like I said, there could be some crazy back story to this. Typical Humboldt craziness lol

They’re both recreational tweekers. Unfortunately, a lot of people out this way are. His lady is bat shit crazy for sure. I’m assuming she was high and paranoid. Or, they pissed someone off. I’m Betting they’re no pictures of the commercial garden because we would all be laughing. No way he could pull off hundreds of #s in his yard. Probably someone else’s stuff. Sucks to be Kenny.

Sounds off to me too. Probably a jealousy motive here, but who knows.

No surprise. CAMP could spend a month around Willow Creek and that might scratch the surface. Just take a Google Map trip through there to see the wide-scale and wide-open huge grows, questionable grading and environmental disasters. Add tweakers and a hands-off approach from the sheriff and…things get weird out there.

I don’t get the system. This guys bail is 75k. The guy in salmon creek gets 500k and a couple burrito eaters get let out on OR with a pound of tar, meth and 160k. WTF!!!

it’s pretty easy to figure out, all the people busted growing pot usually have money, land, toys and are usually the ringmaster of their own little pathetic circus. the burrito eaters which were only caught with $16,000 not 160,000, we’re just little peons without any resources of their own to tax levy or fine. they also have bosses that are dangerous and probably at some point pay off some kind of police organization or other. not to mention they were probably here illegally and California is a sanctuary state where people that come here illegally do not have to follow the laws and when they are caught breaking them the punishment is different from registered citizens.

” Several people at the residence stated, she left a day ago on her own free will.” So that is it? That’s the end of the welfare check? You just let it go? I hope they are still looking for her just to see if she is OK. If she hasn’t picked up her car I would still be worried.
