Burglary Suspect Scared Away by Alarm System, EPD Asking For Help

If you see the man depicted in the attached photos around town, please contact the Eureka Police Department immediately at 441-4044. He broke into a south Broadway business early this morning and is wanted by EPD for burglary.

The suspect appears transient. Note the clothing and mismatched shoes and gloves.

No a lot of brain power going on there to not figure out that a store that sells firearms isn’t going to be well secured. Nice to see they had a fairly decent camera system so you could identify the would be thief.

I think “fold away security gates” would be an appropriate solution and probably lower insurance costs. When they are folded up they would not be visible.
