Winos for Rhinos…The Title Says It All
You are being asked to drink wine for a good cause. Can you help?
Press release from The Redwood Coast chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers:
The Redwood Coast chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers is hosting a fun night of tasty wine, food, live music, games, and a silent auction to benefit endangered wild rhinos! Join us on Sunday, September 13th from 6-10pm at Crush Restaurant and Wine Bar in Arcata! Your ticket includes a free Winos for Rhinos wine glass and one glass of South African wine. Early bird tickets are available on our website for $15 and at the door for $20. All silent auction proceeds and 25% of Crush proceeds from the event are donated to on-the-ground rhino conservation.
This fundraiser is part of a 25-year nationwide fundraiser by the American Association of Zoo Keepers called “Bowling for Rhinos.” To date, Bowling for Rhinos has raised and donated over $5.4 million for rhino conservation! These funds help support wildlife nature preserves and conservation research in Africa and Asia, protecting black, white, Sumatran, and Javan rhino species as well as countless other animals and plants.
