Police Chase Near Arcata Elementary School

Scanner traffic indicates law enforcement officers are chasing a dirt bike near Arcata Elementary School. The suspect was traveling on Baldwin Street, and, most recently, we’re hearing law enforcement are checking the area of Hilfiker Drive. We don’t have a lot of information at this point, but we’ll update when we find out more.

Update 10:19 p.m.: The suspect went down a foot path to evade officers. At the moment, officers are in the area of the Arcata Skate Park on Sunset Avenue.
